Chatting to the young people at Redditch Nightstop was the highlight of my week

Last Friday (March 9) I had the huge honour of officially opening Redditch Nightstop's brand new premises on Britten Street.

Thanks to kind-hearted residents and a business who will remain unnamed, this fabulous charity has been able to relocate to his new building which will provide them with much more space. The charity's refurbishment of the new premises has allowed them to improve the kitchen, wash room, storage area, private relaxation are, interview and mediation room as well as an office and meeting space. The new premises will definitely allow the charity to better fulfil the needs of young people here in Redditch.

I was just in awe of this incredible organisation and the work they do for young people who need support when I visited last Friday. This fantastic charity provides family supported living for young people who have nowhere else to go, as well as helping them to learn vital life skills.

Chatting to the young people who use this service was definitely the highlight of my week. I got to hear first-hand how they’ve turned their lives around from a very dark place and how Nightstop is there for them no matter how long they need it for in their lives.
